Description
Production of targeted mutant mice by embryonic stem cell microinjection
What you will need
Investigators should have:
A PSU IACUC approved protocol so that chimeric progeny can be transferred to your protocols at weaning
Consulted with the Animal Resources Program to acquire mouse space in one of the PSU campus facilities
Evidence of a screening assay (either PCR or Southern), for your mutant allele, so you can detect germline transmission
Investigators who want to supply their own targeted embryonic stem cell line must have commercial documentation that the cell line was MAP tested for murine adventitious agents prior to expansion
