    Description

The TOC-VCPH is a PC controlled high-sensitivity analyzer that measures the amount of total organic carbon (TOC), dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total inorganic carbon (TIC), and dissolved organic carbon (DOC). This analyzer is also used to measure the total nitrogen (TN) and total dissolved nitrogen (TDN).

Analytical Method: Our laboratory follows Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 23rd Edition. Carbon, organic and inorganic is analyzed using method 5310B high-temperature combustion and nitrogen, total and dissolved, is analyzed using 5310B high-temperature combustion with TNM-1 Chemiluminescence.

Analysis for TOC, TIC and TN do not require filtration and samples must be stored at 4ºC. DOC, DIC and TDN require filtration using a 0.45µm filter and samples must be stored at 4ºC.
