    Teaching and educational interests

    Dr. Andrew Lutzkanin regularly works with both students and residents in the outpatient, inpatient, and labor and delivery settings. He regularly provides lectures to the residents on women’s health and advocacy topics. Dr. Lutzkanin's teaching roles include serving as a co-course director in the Health Systems office overseeing the value-based care and health policy components of the course and co-teaching a History of Medicine Humanities elective for 4th year students.

    Clinical interests

    Dr. Andrew Lutzkanin maintains a full cradle-to-grave practice traditional to family medicine, yet his primary clinical interest is in Women’s Health and Obstetrics in particular. He is part of the FCM-OB group providing outpatient prenatal care and in-hospital labor and delivery coverage for triage visits, routine vaginal deliveries, assisted vaginal deliveries, and C-sections. As part of the OB team, he rounds on newborns in the well nursery. Dr. Lutzkanin also regularly conducts rounds on the inpatient Family Medicine service as well as performing a variety of outpatient office procedures.
