Dr. Beth Wallen enjoys precepting students in the family medicine clerkship in the outpatient setting as they learn the varied scope of family medicine, from preventive care to diagnosing and treating illnesses to routine checkups and managing chronic diseases. She also precepts family medicine residents.
Dr. Wallen provides full spectrum primary care to a diverse group of patients. This includes care and diagnosis of acute and chronic problems, mental health care, preventive and gynecological services. She performs skin biopsies, removal of suspicious skin lesions, removal of skin cysts, incision and drainage of abscesses, endometrial biopsies and placement and removal of Nexplanon and IUDs.
Dr. Wallen has a loyal patient panel that have referred friends and family to her care. Patient surveys highlight her patient satisfaction.
