Research interests
Dr. Christopher Davis’ research interests include understanding the impact of the health system’s structure on the professionals engaged within it, and how that structure can be modified to facilitate efficient and efficacious patient care. This involves examining the processes that occur at multiple levels of the system, from the exam room to the clinic to the hospital, in the context of both patient care delivery and medical education. Dr. Davis has also published multiple clinical reviews on dermatologic conditions and treatments.
Teaching and educational interests
Dr. Christopher Davis enjoys working with both residents and medical students in a variety of settings. He routinely teaches students in the clinic, precepts residents at their continuity sites, and supervises a variety of learners on the family medicine inpatient service. He enjoys mentoring students and residents in their clinical skills and career planning.
Clinical interests
Dr. Christopher Davis provides comprehensive primary care services to the patients in his clinic, where he cares for everyone from neonates to geriatric patients, with a particular interest in office-based procedures. He also regularly works on the family medicine inpatient service at the Hershey Medical Center, collaborating with the resident team to care for hospitalized adults.
