Clinical interests
Dr. Grant Zeigler is a fellowship-trained vascular neurologist and faculty member of the Stroke Division with Penn State Neurology. His clinical interests include secondary stroke prevention, cryptogenic stroke workup and management, telestroke consultation, and acute inpatient stroke management. He has particular interests in the utilization of long-term monitoring for detection of atrial fibrillation in patients with cryptogenic stroke, and in the management of stroke etiologies with high risk of recurrence such as intracranial atherosclerotic disease.
Research interests
Dr. Grant Zeigler's research interests include quality improvement within the Stroke Division. He is also interested in improving the transition from inpatient to outpatient stroke management for follow-up and longitudinal management.
