Dr. Jenny Argudo is committed to integrating research that align closely with her clinical work and include: investigating risk factors and etiologies of cryptogenic stroke, stroke in the young adult population and recent advancements in pediatric patients, and approaches to enhance neurorehabilitation and functional recovery.
Clinical interests
Dr. Argudo's clinical interests center on vascular neurology, with a strong passion for the care of patients with cerebrovascular disease. She has a particular interest in the evaluation and management of cryptogenic stroke (Embolic stroke of undetermined source), with emphasis on identifying uncommon underlying mechanisms, including but not limited to intracranial structural vasculopathies, hypercoagulable disorders; and improving strategies for secondary prevention. She is also deeply interested in neurorehabilitation, aiming to improve functional recovery and long-term outcomes for stroke survivors through comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
