Dr. John Roberts is a hand and reconstructive plastic surgeon with a wide-range of research interests. His primary focuses include peripheral nerve injury, targeted muscle reinnervation, tendon healing, lower extremity reconstruction, and surgical education.
Teaching and educational interests
Dr. John Roberts has an interest and role in several levels of medical education. He serves as a medical student applicant screener and interviewer. He works with medical students in problem based learning and grades student clinical assessments and note writing. He serves as the clerkship navigator for medical students and acting interns on their plastic surgery rotations. He also serves as the associate program director for the plastic surgery residency program.
