    Dr. Fitzsimons supervises medical students, residents and fellows in their outpatient clinical nephrology rotations.  She also provides supervision of the medical students in the first year renal block by precepting Problem-Based Learning sessions.

    Clinical interests

    Dr. Fitzsimons has a clinical interest in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Her clinical activities are focused on outpatient management of in-center and home hemodialysis, as well as peritoneal dialysis. Dr. Fitzsimons is the Medical Director of a free-standing dialysis unit in Mechanicsburg which offers various modalities of renal replacement therapy.
