Dr. Mendez Miller has active research in approaching colorectal cancer screening in vulnerable populations, women's and immigrant health, and medical education for both students and residents.
Dr. Mendez Miller has developed and leads in several family medicine residency curriculum and training including: humanities, wellness, CQTI, Residents as Educators, POCUS, and procedural training (joint injections, inpatient procedures, LARCs, dermatoscopy and skin procedures). She enjoys teaching medical students in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings as well as serving as the faculty advisor for a student-run free mobile clinic dedicated to serving populations in underserved communities throughout central PA.
Dr. Mendez Miller enjoys the full scope of family medicine: outpatient-office care and inpatient-hospitalist care. She also performs pre/post-natal care, newborn care and pediatrics, women's health and geriatrics.
