Dr. Nikkole Haines’ main research interests involve clinical outcomes for total joint arthroplasty patients and quality improvement for the joint arthroplasty service line, including increasing the safety and ease of outpatient joint arthroplasty. Additional interests include periprosthetic joint infection, post-traumatic arthritis and periprosthetic fracture treatment.
Dr. Nikkole Haines is actively involved in the education of residents in both clinical and research arenas. She focuses on a team-approach to patient care and graduated responsibility commiserate with skill and knowledge level. She works to empower residents in choosing, designing and executing research projects.
Dr. Nikkole Haines is an adult hip and knee reconstruction specialist. She also takes level one calls. She cares for patients with pathology related to the hip and knee joints including arthritis, periprosthetic joint infections, revision joint replacement and fracture care.
