Research interests
Dr. Paul Juliano's main research interest is in clinical outcomes of surgery of the hindfoot, specifically for total ankle reconstruction and flatfoot reconstruction. He is published in these areas and is also interested in the care of the diabetic foot and Charcot neuropathy.
Teaching and educational interests
Dr. Paul Juliano is actively involved in the education of residents. He is the program director for both the Orthopaedic Residency and the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He has served as chairman of the post-graduate education and training committee for the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and as a leader for the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons' instructional course lectures, foot and ankle section.
Clinical interests
Dr. Paul Juliano is a foot and ankle expert. He is also fellowship-trained in trauma. He sees any pathology related to the foot and ankle, including fracture care and reconstruction, soft tissue reconstruction and sports medicine injuries.
