Sayed Reza is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Penn State University Harrisburg. He specializes in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Software Engineering, and Computer Science Education. His research focuses on data-driven decision-making in healthcare, open government, sensory data, and the enhancement of computer science education through data science. He leads the "Data Driven Decision Making (D3M) Lab" at Penn State Harrisburg.
He has published in prestigious venues such as IEEE BHI, ACM MODELS, IEEE FIE, WILEY, and ACM EngageCSEdu. His work examines the intersection of civic, health, and sensor data, utilizing data-driven methodologies to improve decision-making processes. Sayed Reza completed his Ph.D. research on the application of machine learning to large-scale software data. His undergraduate research focused on developing a Peer-to-Peer Review Management System designed to enhance the submission and review processes.
