Dr. Truong X. Tran is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Penn State Harrisburg and Director of the Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory. His research spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Biomedical Informatics and Healthcare, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, Computer Networks, Security, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision. Dr. Tran has led and contributed to numerous interdisciplinary and externally funded research projects in collaboration with institutions across the United States and abroad. He has an extensive record of high-impact publications, active scholarly service, and dedicated mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students. Through his teaching, research, and leadership, Dr. Tran is committed to advancing trustworthy AI and developing innovative computational solutions that address critical challenges in healthcare, cybersecurity, and intelligent systems.
