Dr. Varalakshmi Ballur Narayana Reddy’s research interests include refractory/ super refractory status epilepticus, and NORSE (New Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus). Other research interest include epilepsy in patients with ischemic/hemorrhagic strokes.
Dr. Ballur Narayana Reddy feels patients with epilepsy face multiple challenges, accurate diagnosis and management of epilepsy plays an important role in improving their quality of life. She is involved in managing epilepsy with medications and wide range of neurostimulation devices such as VNS, RNS and evaluating and managing patients with epileptic surgeries.
