Dr. William Jens has a strong commitment to medical education and enjoys working with medical students, residents and advanced practice providers in numerous ways while working on neurology advocacy.
He lectures frequently to the Neurology Residency and created a telehealth training program for the residents and redesigned the resident clinic structure in light of COVID-19.
Dr. Jens has a particular interest in mentoring students and trainees, and helped create a junior faculty mentoring program in the Department of Neurology, with younger faculty mentoring new faculty.
Dr. William Jens is director of the neurology access clinic for Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and clinic director of outpatient neurology.
