Enhancing motor recovery after stroke using a discovery pipeline approach

Our emergency response to stroke has significantly improved. Nevertheless, many people are still left with disability, and current rehabilitation interventions have limited impact. This Investigator Grant will improve rehabilitation options by advancing the way these options are developed. My work will help establish a higher standard for trials, led by Australia, for global use. Taken together, this research will ultimately drive the most promising rehabilitation interventions into practice.
