Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Fabrication of Novel Transducer Components and Materials through the Use of Additive Manufacturing Technologies. This effort will be divided into two separate tasks, the first based on design, the second based on materials. For the design task, the goal is to utilize the freedoms offered by the additive manufacturing processes to develop designs that improve the performance and manufacturability of transducer components. For the materials task, the goal is to fabricate materials that have tailored mechanical properties and microstructure to improve the performance of transducers.
