FUTURE X-RAY ASTRONOMY MISSIONS WILL REQUIRE LARGE ADVANCEMENTS IN MANY KEY TECHNOLOGIES. CURRENT STATE-OF-THE-ART TELESCOPES ARE ACHIEVING FINER FOCI ON LIGHTWEIGHT SUBSTRATES WHILE DIFFRACTION GRATINGS ARE MORE EFFICIENT AND CAPABLE OF HIGHER RES
