Project Details
Description
The purpose of this project is for the Urban Institute to serve as a thought partner for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in developing and executing the program and synthesis for a 500 Cities Project convening to promote the project's data and its release. The main goal of the meeting is to bring together various sectors and disciplines in thinking about how they can use this health-related data individually and with other partners, especially ones that might not be traditional for them. Deliverables for this work will include: (1) creation of the invitation list; (2) development of a format and program for the convening, December 2016 in Dallas; (3) design of and participation in the local 'call for ideas' to which members of the 500 Cities Project will be able to apply for a chance to join the convening in person; (4) participation in the convening; and (5) a summary report of the conference that will share the insights from the event with a broader audience.
