The Foundation's initiative, Aligning Forces for Quality: The Regional Market Place, was designed to help communities across the country align health care forces to improve the quality of health care.This project will administer a follow-up survey of consumers in 14 of the 17 Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) communities to measure any change in consumer knowledge and behavior regarding health and health care and whether AF4Q is having the intended effect. Deliverables will include a community-specific report for each of the 14 AF4Q grantees; reports and presentations to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the AF4Q national program office and other stakeholders; research summaries; and academic journal articles and presentations. An additional deliverable will be a public-use dataset for inclusion in the Foundation's Health and Medical Care Archive.
