Project Details
Description
The performer will use SAS measurements of spatial coherence to segment objects from background. Use these measurements to develop physical models for predicting the spatial coherence from the environment, clutter, and objects. Apply the results to previous data sets to assess spatial coherence as a discriminator between objects and background. Invert spatial coherence measurements to form accurate estimates of SAS platform motion to improve image formation. Models and analysis results will be documented in conference presentations, technical reports, and/or journal articles.
