N2 - The 9th International Ceramic Processing Science Symposium is planned to be held at Coral Springs Merriott Hotel, Golf Club and Convention Center, Coral Springs, Florida from January 8 to 11, 2006. The discipline of ceramic processing has made significant progress in colloid and surface chemistry, powder synthesis, and precursor-derived systems. There is still much to be done to advance the scientific underpinnings of these process and the emergent areas of nanotechnology. The topics to be covered in the symposia include, reaction-based processes, biomimetic and bioinspired techniques, and computational tools applied to processing.
