Abstract

In this paper, chiral-selective absorption and circular polarization preservation of a chiral metamaterial mirror are presented. Beyond the linear regime, it is shown that the resonance also enables handedness-dependent nonlinear generation from such meta-mirrors. Moreover, we have demonstrated that the proposed chiral-mirror can be used to achieve resonance-enhanced and chiral-selective high-contrast second-harmonic optical imaging.
