Abstract

An efficient analysis technique based on a domain-decomposition/reciprocity procedure for analyzing conformal microstrip antennas mounted on arbitrarily-shaped platforms was demonstrated for some practical antenna configurations. These included a broadband spiral antenna mounted on the endcap of a circular cylinder, and an array of square microstrip patch antennas mounted around the circumference of a missile.
