Abstract

Downloading content from the Internet brings risks: content that appears reputable may be malicious; given system access it can damage or destroy data. To contend with this risk, the authors developed FlexxGuard, a flexible content interpreter that dynamically derives protection domains and uses those domains to authorize content operations.
