Abstract
This paper introduces kriging as a new tool to predict network coverage in wireless networks. The proposed approach aims to reduce the cost of active site surveys by estimating network coverage at points where no site survey data is available. The proposed approach was compared with a radial basis function artificial neural network using several problems.
