Abstract
Domain structures in the a and phases of PLZT have been studied by cold-stage transmission electron microscopy. The low temperature a-phase has s table polar microdomains coe xisting with a non-polar phase. There also existing superstructure in the low temperature a-phase associated with an antiferroelectric phase. The B-phase exhibits macrodomains which become aligned by specimen charging effects during analysis.
