Abstract
Wherein the author, a scholar of, among other things, Jewish American literature, has a chance meeting in New York City with a Rabbinicist and a Middle Eastern historian, and interweaves the narration of the encounter with ideas that have been maturing over the better part of the last decade about the field in order to spin a gripping yarn about the future of critical Jewish Studies.
