N2 - This paper studies the application of a transport equation to predict the steady-state sound pressure distributions in long enclosures when multiple sources are present. A previously developed transport equation model for a single source with partially diffusely reflecting surfaces is extended to consider multiple sources at different locations. The numerical results are compared with the ones from the ray-tracing based method, and good agreement is observed. In addition, the computation time for the transport equation model does not directly depend on the number of the sources modeled. This extension makes the transport equation model potentially attractive in cases where more than one sources have to be considered.
