Abstract
The abrupt climatic changes during winters and sudden droughts scorching farmland around the globe are discussed. Global warming is pushing the earth's climate faster towards sudden shifts and has become a matter of great concern. A gradual change in temperature or other physical conditions pushed the key driver of the climate towards a invisible threshold. The studies show that within several thousand years after the start of a typical warm period, the climate reverted to slow cooling followed by quick cooling over as short a time as a century.
