    Abstract

Spray forming is one processing route that has the potential of circumventing the difficulties of high costs associated with multiple powder metallurgy operations. Spray forming is inert gas atomization of a liquid metal stream into variously sized droplets. AlYNiCo and AlYNiCoZr alloy billets were prepared via spray forming.
