Abstract

An adaptive attitude control law which explicitly takes into account the constraints on individual angular velocity components has been developed for rigid body attitude control problem. Rigorous stability analysis is presented in the paper which guarantee the asymptotic stability of the controller. The performance of the control laws for stable, bounded tracking of attitude trajectories is evaluated. The essential ideas and results from computer simulations are presented to illustrate the performance of the controller developed in this paper.
