Abstract

A tomographic image reconstruction algorithm that we have been studying requires the nth-order Hankel transform for the nth function in a series, where n varies over a set of integers. Unfortunately, most previously proposed algorithms have either dealt with only zeroth-order transforms or cannot be applied conveniently to our problem. We propose an algorithm for computing general integer-order Hankel transforms. The algorithm takes samples of equally spaced input functions and gives equally spaced samples of the transforms.
