Abstract
In this paper, a small-footprint, athermal, hitless, reconfiguration-optical add-drop module with an inherently integrated optical power controller is presented. This unique multiplexer cannot only add-drop any wavelength among designed wavelength channels without interrupting through traffic, but can also dynamically control the output power of an add-drop channel.
