Abstract

Fast algorithms for calculating the impedance matrix and driving point impedance of fractal arrays were proposed. The self similarity of the geometrical structure of fractals was utilized for developing the algorithms. The triadic cantor linear array and the Sierpinski carpet planar array were the two specific cases of antenna configurations considered.
