Abstract
This article explores the educational and outreach initiatives of Penn State Libraries aimed at proactively reducing student stress in support of student wellness. With twenty-one campuses across the state—ranging from fewer than 500 students to nearly 50,000—the study employs a case study approach using two qualitative data collection methods. It highlights targeted interventions designed to improve student well-being and demonstrates how existing programs can be leveraged effectively. The study underscores the vital role libraries can play in promoting mental health regardless of student demographics, institutional size, available resources, or geographic location.
