Abstract
An exact, analytical solution is derived to the two-dimensional diffusion problem for mass transfer in a block copolymer with a highly oriented lamellar morphology. The solution is derived using a separation of variables approach with a spectral analysis of a self-adjoint operator and also by formal application of the Laplace transform method. A simple solution is also derived for films with high aspect ratios.
