An immunochemical study of the induction of tyrosine hydroxylase in rat adrenal glands

Abstract

Tyrosine hydroxylase-specific protein is increased in rat adrenal medulla by immobilization stress, cold exposure, and 6-hydroxydopamine administration. The kinetic properties of the induced enzyme are identical to those of the control enzyme.
