Abstract
Specifications for a modified Couette cell constant-stress rheometer which can measure simultaneously the viscometric properties and neutron-scattered intensities are reported. Representative plots demonstrating simultaneous measurements of the viscosity and the anisotropic scattering patterns as a function of shear stress and shear rate are displayed from a 1.0% by weight (0.03 M) solution of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and sodium salicylate in D2O.
