Abstract

This paper discusses the development of a descriptive model of the NS Savannah power plant architecture modeled using Object Management Group (OMG)'s System Modeling Language (SysML) and Atego's Artisan Studio. The descriptive model is used to communicate various viewpoints of the power plant to design engineers as well as the first steps of developing analytical models to trade performance through simulation.
