Abstract

Various assessment of new ways of teaching dynamics are presented. The measures that accurately reflect learning objectives given the innovative teaching practices are developed. The learning outcomes affected when active learning startegies are employed in the engineering classroom are also discussed. Assessment is necessary to check the effectiveness of newly implemented pedagogical changes. It drives the refinement of not only future assessment techniques but also teaching and learning improvements.
