Abstract

A familiarity with the brief musculoskeletal examination is critically important for any medical provider. Many subtle presentations can be indicative of underlying disease. Early management in musculoskeletal diseases and growth disorders can lead to less invasive and more successful outcomes. Recognition of some components of a patient’s history and physical may be essential to avoiding complications during dental treatment.
