Abstract

In the version of this Perspective originally published, the author Vincent Robert’s affiliation with the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute was mistakenly omitted. In addition, the author Marco Thines’s affiliation with the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre was mistakenly omitted.
