Autumn Leifson: Developing a Mobile App That Supports Family Engagement Outdoors Through Informal Learning

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Autumn turned around in her office chair, thinking about her most recent design project. With all these new opportunities to learn about the natural world at our Arboretum, I wonder what STEM curriculum we could draw from to make our mobile learning app more versatile for a wide range of families. One family did mention something about interactive elements, such as drawing or drag-and-drop activities in the app… Hmm, I guess it’s time to do more research.
