Back-to-back jets in quantum chromodynamics: Comparison with experiment

Abstract

Theory and experiment are compared for the energy-energy correlation function in the reaction e++e-→A+B+X, with hadrons A and B nearly back to back. This correlation function is sensitive to the transverse-momentum transfers incurred in quark decay.
