Biological hydrogen production from livestock wastewaters

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

The potential for hydrogen production from high-strength wastes, which are frequently treated using anaerobic systems, was studied. Initial hydrogen-production experiments were performed with swine slurry using batch-grown reactors connected to a respirometer to monitor gas production rate and GC analysis of headspace gas composition.
