Abstract

A Light-emitting diode with ac-coupled nonlinear optoelectronic feedback can exhibit complex sequences of periodic oscillations and chaotic spiking. In this paper, we proposed an adaptive H-infinity control to achieve the chaos synchronization of two light-emitting diode systems. The unknown nonlinear part in the synchronization error dynamics is first approximated by radial basis function neural networks, then the effects of the approximate errors and disturbances are attenuated by H-infinity control. The simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
