Abstract
The generation of a pressure-density curve by automatic means is demonstrated to be a reliable method for characterizing the compaction response of a granulated ceramic powder. It is shown that experimental parameters have a significant influence on the reliability of the data and can lead to incorrect interpretation concerning the powder.
