Abstract
The perovskite single crystal solid solution of 0.43BiScOi 3-0.57PbTiO 3 (BSPT57) single crystals poled along the [001] direction were characterized using the resonance technique. A high temperature and high electric field were applied on the samples for 10 min, and the resonance measurements were performed on the samples 24h after the poling process. A complete set of elastic, piezoelectric, electromechanical, and dielectric constants were obtained. The results show that BSPT crystals can be regarded as promising materials for high-temperature high performance applications, due to their high Curie temperature, rhombohedral-tetragonal phase transformation temperature and large coercive field.
